Hi, I’m Brooke!

I am a leadership enthusiast with a nerdy passion for how things are run in schools. Working for almost twenty years as a staff developer dedicated to literacy, teaching, and learning, has taught me a thing or two about inspiring others, leading teams, and establishing boundaries. 

I’m also obsessed with nibbles. What are nibbles, you ask? I define a nibble as a treat, like a cookie or a brownie. They are small and easy to digest. They fit into a pocket and can be kept on reserve for when you really need it. They are chosen carefully to satisfy a craving. They make great presents to let someone know you are thinking of them.

I’m working to bring my leadership skills to educators who want to be part of a community and to leaders who create professional development opportunities for their teachers and want a little for themselves. You can expect small, carefully chosen tips on leadership from this blog. It will be practical and simple, and, if I’m successful, inspirational.
